We do monitor our Facebook page but we do not have staff dedicated to monitoring our page on a 24/7 basis. While we welcome an open dialogue on our Facebook page, we do not condone name calling, profanity, or verbal abuse of our staff or store. As a reminder, Facebook automatically hides comments that contain profanity. Facebook users also have the option of taking down their own posts or reporting inappropriate Facebook usage. While we respect the right to each other’s individual opinions, we ask that Facebook users on our page be compassionate and respectful of one another and their concerns they wish to raise. Mariposa Food Co-op strives to provide residents of West Philadelphia and beyond with access to and information about food, especially healthy, locally-grown or otherwise sustainably-produced products.
