Farmer Bens Eggs is a 2nd generation family farm, owned and operated currently by Ian and Jennifer Woike. Ian’s father along with him started the egg layer farm in 1980, branching out to the grading and wholesale business in 1994. They have proudly been providing safe, fresh nutritious eggs to Vancouver Island for over 4 decades.

Ian currently manages the farm on a daily basis with the help of 15 employees. Jennifer sits as a Director on the BC egg Marketing Board, representing the egg producers of Vancouver Island. They have raised 3 children on the farm, all have or continue to be involved in farming. Dave Van Es joined the team as farm manager in 2010. Our farm operates independently, without any government subsides and with respect for resources in all products we produce.

We are proud to be able to use the COWICHAN GROWN logo – as 100% of our product is produced in the Cowichan Valley by local registered egg producers. All farms have passed high standards in Bio Security, Start Clean/Stay Clean, and Animal Care and Welfare Audits.

Our Grading Station in CFIA inspected and approved. You can always ensure to receive a Grade A egg that is safe and nutritious. All of our eggs arrive via our trucks and local drivers to the retail and restaurant market within 4-7 days of being laid. Now that’s FRESH!
